I still feel slightly conflicted about that second panel. I almost cut it, because of that whole rule with screen-writing. You know the one. The “if there’s a gun above the fireplace in Act One, it needs to be used before the end of Act Three” thing. Originally I had Mack pulling it out but never firing it. I think instead I’m going to leave it there for a later time. It does add a little something, I think, about Mack. Four guys wearing suits and looking pissy come in to the shop, so the first thing he does is reach for the hidden gun under the counter? Probably says a bit about his character. What do you think? Should I have not bothered with that panel, or is it alright the way it is?
